An engagement session is where we learn to work together before the wedding. You see how we photograph — from a distance, with very little direction — and we learn how you move, how you laugh, what makes you comfortable in front of a lens.
In Paris that means a walk: the quays early in the morning, a cobbled courtyard still empty, a café where you actually sit down. What you get is not a set of poses but an hour of your life together, in a city that holds light beautifully.
Natural light, a documentary eye, and only the simplest prompts: walk, talk to each other, come back. No pose lists, no props. The framing is editorial and the grading restrained, faithful to the colour of the place and the hour.
We pick a short route together — two or three locations within walking distance — so no time is lost in transit and the session keeps its energy.
A conversation about your story, the images you like and the time of day that suits you. We suggest a route and a start time based on the light.
Around ninety minutes on foot. We start slowly, until the camera is forgotten; the strongest frames almost always come after the first twenty minutes.
An edited selection, graded exactly like our wedding work, delivered in a private online gallery you can share and download.
Couples who say they are not photogenic and want that doubt gone before the wedding day. Couples planning from abroad who would rather meet us first. And anyone who simply wants good pictures of the two of you, without waiting for a celebration.
It also works as a pre-wedding session before a destination wedding: we meet in Paris, then photograph your wedding day elsewhere in France, Spain or Italy.
Tell us the date you have in mind and what you would like to keep of Paris. We reply with a route and a proposal.
