Wedding photographer in Paris

We are Plus One Stories, wedding photographers and filmmakers based in Paris. We document weddings across Île-de-France and throughout France, Spain and Italy, with an editorial, cinematic eye: natural light, real gestures, no forced posing.

How we approach wedding reportage

We work in reportage: we follow the day as it unfolds, from getting ready to the end of the party. No systematic staging, no endless group photo lists. What remains of a wedding are the details nobody planned.

Photo and film are conceived together, by the same team. That avoids two suppliers getting in each other's way and gives a coherent story between stills and film.

We speak French, Spanish and English, which matters when families come from several countries — a common situation at Paris weddings.

Weddings in Paris and Île-de-France

Paris sets its own constraints: short civil ceremonies at the arrondissement town hall, travel between venues, difficult light inside private mansions and tight schedules. We build the timeline with you in advance so the reportage is never rushed.

We shoot both inside Paris and at the châteaux and estates of Île-de-France, as well as in Normandy, Champagne and Burgundy for two-day weddings.

Paris, season by season

In May and June the light holds until 10pm: a 4pm ceremony leaves plenty of room for a walk along the quais before dinner. In September the low evening sun is the best light of the year for a couple session, but Saturdays book a year ahead.

Parisian winter has its own value: indoor ceremonies, soft light behind tall Haussmann windows, an empty city at dawn. We build the timeline hour by hour instead of applying the same schedule to every wedding.

They married in Paris

Miquel and Paula! Marta and Lucas here. We wanted to tell you that the photos you showed us today left us speechless. You captured every tear, every laugh... even my uncles' improvised dance! Thank you for being so warm and making it all easy.

Good evening, it's Carla. I've just seen the preview and I'm crying again. You managed to tell a story in every single image. What an eye! Thank you for treating my family with so much care.

Frequently asked questions — weddings in Paris

How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking 4 to 8 months ahead, especially from May to October. We take a limited number of weddings each year to keep the same level of attention on every story.
Do you offer photo and video together?
Yes. Photo and film are covered by the same team, which avoids suppliers competing for position and gives a coherent result between images and film.
When do we receive the photos?
You receive a preview of 15 to 40 edited photos within 48 hours of the wedding, then the full gallery in 4 to 8 weeks depending on the package.
Do you travel outside Paris?
Yes. We regularly cover weddings in the French regions, Spain and Italy. Travel costs are quoted separately depending on the location.
What happens if it rains on the wedding day?
Rain often gives different, stronger images. We plan an indoor fallback with you and adapt the timeline as the day goes.
